Trilobite fauna of the Telt Bugt Formation (Cambrian Series 2–Miaolingian Series), western North Greenland (Laurentia)

Trilobites dominantly of middle Cambrian (Miaolingian Series, Wuliuan Stage) age are described from the Telt Bugt Formation Daugaard-Jensen Land, western North Greenland (Laurentia), which is a correlative Cape Wood Inglefield Land and Ellesmere Island, Nunavut. Four biozones recognised in representing Delamaran Topazan regional stages USA. The basal Plagiura–Poliella Biozone, with Mexicella cf. robusta, Kochiella, Fieldaspis? Plagiura?, straddles Series 2–Miaolingian boundary. It overlain by mexicana for first time Greenland, rare specimens Caborcella arrojosensis. Glossopleura walcotti Glossopleura, Clavaspidella Polypleuraspis, dominates succession eastern but seemingly not represented type section outcrops, likely reflecting drastic thinning formation towards north-west. Ehmaniella Ehmaniella, Clappaspsis, Blainia Blainiopsis, youngest biozone. presence Drumian Stage strata reported elsewhere adjacent Island has been confirmed Land. Lower beds Cass Fjord Formation, directly overlie assigned to Guzhangian Stage. New species: iubilaei, tupeqarfik.
